How to capture culture in a brand.
A cultural institution needed to respect its past while focusing on its future. We worked with the Italian Cultural Centre to develop a new look and feel, language and website that echoed its storied heritage, yet welcomed newcomers to the community.
The result? A new name, fresh logo and website that is accessible and welcoming for all.
Ciao!
The Italian Cultural Centre was a beloved community resource, but its reach was limited to those of Italian heritage. In a growing city with a more diverse population, it needed a fresh, contemporary look to attract a broader audience wishing to experience Italian culture through the arts, food, design and more.
The organization came to us for a complete brand refresh. We began by incorporating the name to
Il Centro into the identity, to convey that the not-for-profit was a true hub of culture in the city. We
developed a logo and colour palette for the group, and a family of print materials. Then we extended the look and feel to a new website.
Today, the Il Centro is dynamic part of the culture of the city, with a brand to match.
